1.Can I be contacted by friends and family?
Friends and family may call you onboard via Maritime Telecommunications Network (MTN) Shore-to-Ship telephone service. Long distance charges apply when calling from outside of the United States.

Your friends/family need to provide the ship's name and the full guest's name when calling.  The charges will be applied to the caller's credit card: MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Diner's Club. Call +1-877 CCLSHIP (+1-877-225-7447) from the U.S or if calling outside of the US call +1-732-335-3284.

2.Can we hire a suit for the formal nights?
No, unfortunately we are unable to provide this service. You will need to bring formal attire with you. Back to top
3.Can we send mail/post cards from the ship?
Postcards can be mailed each day when the ship is in port. Due to customs regulations, any type of mail other than postcards cannot be mailed from the ship; Of course, letters and packages can be mailed from a local post office in the ports-of-call.

The postal regulations of the various ports require that the postcards be stamped with a local stamp only (no U.S. postage). The Guest Services Desk sells local stamps.

5.Can you take alcohol on board?
Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board.  However if celebrating a special occasion while on board, one bottle of fine wine or champagne may be brought on board during embarkation at the beginning of the cruise. A USD$10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged if you wish to consume this while dining in the main dining room; USD$14 corkage fee per bottle in the Supper Club. Back to top

Bookings are required for the Supper Club which is an additional fee of US$20 per person.

7.Do we have to tip?
It is a requirement of Carnival Cruise Lines for all international travelers to pre-pay their gratuities.  For your convenience, bookings made via Travel the World for Carnival Cruise Lines will automatically include gratuities. Back to top

12.How long in advance can we book shore excursions?

14.Is there a hair dryer on board?
Not all ships in the Carnival fleet provide hairdryers. If you are travelling on Destiny, Triumph, Victory, Spirit, Pride, Legend, Conquest, Glory, Miracle, Valor, Liberty, Freedom, Splendor and Dream a hairdryer is provided for your convenience. Back to top

19.What is embarkation?
It depends on the cruise and destination. Government regulations for U.S. departure ports require that a final departure manifest is submitted 60 minutes prior to departure. Guests must provide the required information prior to embarkation. The easiest and most convenient way is to complete our FunPass on line registration process (www.carnival.com/mycruise) at least (3) three days prior to departure. Guests that do not complete the registration process prior to embarkation are required to check-in at least 90 minutes prior to the published sailing time. 20.What is the dress code?
Casual attire and resort wear are for the day, both on board and ashore. For Cruise Elegant evening such as the Captain’s Cocktail Party/Gala Dinner, a dark suit or formal attire is suggested for the gentlemen and for the ladies, cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses are suitable. For those who want casual attire for dinner time, the Seaview Bistro on the Lido Deck is open nightly, and has a more relaxed theme. Back to top

25.What power points are used on board?
There is one electrical outlet in each stateroom located in the area of the desk/vanity. The outlet is equipped with a 3-prong 110 volt and a 220 volt plug. The outlet in the bathroom can only be used for electric razors. Back to top
