With a choice of accommodation that either overlooks the peaceful lake and lush tropical gardens or the vast sea of the Gulf of Thailand, all suites, pavilions and guest rooms have elegant interiors incorporating indigenous materials with luxurious facilities and amenities.

Room Descriptions:

OCEAN VIEW ROOM - The Ocean View Rooms are located in the main building, facing the Gulf of Thailand and the outside pool.  Each room offers private balconies or terraces for drinking in the fresh air and relaxing atmosphere of Chiva-Som.  For double or twin occupancy, the Ocean View rooms are ideal for listening to the soft lapping of the sea.

THAI PAVILION, Garden View - Experience the real feel of Thailand by staying at one of Chiva-Som's Thai Pavilions.  Built in seclusion around the lake, the pavilions offer a calm, peaceful atmosphere close to the beautifully-kept gardens.  Watch the carp gliding in the lake from your 'sala' and enjoy the sense of tranquility that comes from being close to nature.

HERBAL SUITE AND FRAGRANCE SUITE, Ocean View – Chiva-Som suites are in the main building and all look out over the the Gulf of Thailand.  The Herbal and Fragrance Suites are two-room suites featuring a much larger outdoor terrace area for those who enjoy relaxing on their own private balconies that look out over the sea.

RAINFOREST SUITE, Ocean View - The Rainforest Suite offers a larger lounge area which adjoins the bedroom, as well as a larger outdoor terrace and features a bathroom with two hand basin and are therefore ideal for couples travelling together.  The bathroom also features a separate bath to shower area, which allows guests to take advantage of some of the bath treatments available in one's room.  Included in these suites is an adjoining dressing table and change area.  These suites can be made into two-bedroom suites by combining them with an Ocean View Room.

GOLDEN BO, Ocean/Garden View – Chiva-Som's top suite is the Golden Bo.  This suite is located in the main building of Chiva-Som and has views of the Gulf of Thailand from both the bedroom and living areas.  It also has an extensive lobby featuring Thai artefacts and materials. The entrance foyer leads into the lounge area which features ample sitting for four people, a state of the art stereo system, a DVD and television.  Double wooded doors lead into the master bedroom where all the walls are covered with traditional Thai silk giving a truly luxurious feel to the bedroom.  Off the main bedroom is a private bathroom including Jacuzzi, changing area and dressing table.
