Travel + Leisure Names Tauck The "World's Best"

Last week in New York, Tauck, an 86 year-old leader in premium-quality guided land journeys and cruises, was named “The World’s Best River Cruise Line” in Travel + Leisure magazine's exclusive "World's Best Awards." The awards are voted on by the magazine's subscribers, and honour readers' top picks in categories including Best Hotel, Best Airline and Best Island. Readers ranked river cruise lines on cabins, food, service, itineraries and destinations, activities and value and Tauck was recognized in the Number 1 position ahead of river cruise operators from all around the world. "To be rated Number 1 River Cruise Line in the world is an enormous honour,'" said Tauck CEO Dan Mahar, "especially when the accolade comes from a magazine that is as highly regarded as Travel + Leisure."
