Escape to the tropics with Carnival Cruise Lines
20 Dec 2010

The 7-night Western Caribbean cruise sails roundtrip from Miami, Florida. The Mexican island of Cozumel is the first port of call and offers fantastic diving spots, including the world famous Palancar Reef. There are also plenty of markets to explore and open air cafes to enjoy.
After a brief interlude at sea guests will arrive at Georgetown, the capital of the Cayman Islands. A paradise for water sports enthusiasts, guests can snorkel with stingrays, go scuba diving or explore the shipwrecks off the shores of Cayman Brac. Guests also have the opportunity to visit Seven Mile Beach, a beautiful stretch of coral-sand beach widely regarded to be the best in the Caribbean.
Guests will then cruise to Ocho Rios, the cruise ship capital of Jamaica. Scenic highlights include Dunn's River Falls, a 600-foot natural staircase of cascading water; Shaw Park Botanical Gardens, which offers 32 acres of indigenous trees, flowers and shrubs; and Dolphin Cove, where guests can swim with a friendly family of bottlenose dolphins.
The 7-night Western Caribbean cruise is priced from AU$721 per person twin share (based on a 9 April 2011 departure, Category 4B). Fares include all meals, entertainment and activities whilst cruising as well as cruise NCFs, taxes and gratuities. Departures are available all year round.
Travelling onboard the 2,974 passenger Carnival Liberty, guests can enjoy an extensive range of entertainment and leisure facilities. Catch a show at Venetian Palace, enjoy a movie at the Seaside Theatre or unwind with a soothing treatment at Spa Carnival. Carnival’s dining options satisfy all tastes, including Emile’s Restaurant for casual diners and the Manhattan chic Harry’s Steakhouse for a gourmet fare. For the little ones, Carnival Liberty offers two kids clubs that cater to 2-11 year olds (Camp Carnival) and 15-17 year olds (Club O2).
