Chiva-Som launches new Spa Product Range

Incorporating the professional formulas used by the resort’s leading therapists, the products reflect Chiva-Som’s commitment to the environment with their natural ingredients and recycled packaging.
The collection of 24 health and beauty products feature 12 face products, seven body products and five massage oils, and include cleansers, scrubs, moisturisers, balms, masks and serums. The formulas have undergone extensive testing by Chiva-Som’s expert team and professional therapists to achieve the ideal efficacy, texture, smell and colour; and have a shelf life of 24 months.
“Spa lovers can now use the highest quality product range in their own home. Each of the products is used in our world leading spa, such as the Aromatic Coffee Body Scrub which our therapists apply in the Body Cocoon, Deep Cleansing Back treatment and Coffee Body Scrub; and the Lemongrass Body Moisturiser, which is used in seven of our treatments including theSignature Deep Hand Massage, Spa Haven Body Cocoon, Detox Skin Therapy and Papaya Wrap,” said Anne-Claude Toral, Retail & Product Development Manager.
The products are 95 to 100 percent natural, with the non-natural ingredients including those that have been added for skin safety or anti-aging benefits, such as sunscreen.
“In accordance with our commitment to the environment, all products use natural ingredients wherever possible, and use only gentle but effective food grade preservatives. There are no parabens, phenoxyethanol, petrochemicals, silicones, animal-derived ingredients, or artificial colours or fragrances,” said Anne-Claude.
The packaging for the products complies with Chiva-Som’s strict code of practice, with all boxes made of recycled paper and no stickers used on bottles, jars or tubes. Chiva-Som is committed to operating at the world’s highest environmental standard, and initiatives such as waste minimisation and environmentally-friendly products contribute to the resort’s prestigious Green Globe certification.
