2.Do you have luggage restrictions?
Silversea requests that guests bring only a “reasonable” amount of luggage with them. They also remind guests that airlines often have strict luggage policies that should be followed to avoid hassle.

Silversea will endeavour to deliver your luggage to your room shortly after embarkation, however this may be delayed due to strict customs mandates beyond their control. For this reason, Silversea recommends that you bring all essential items with you in your hand luggage.

3.How many people make up a group?

4.My group wants to dine together. What are the dining options and their capacities?
Each ship offers a variety of dining venues. The Restaurant operates on an open-seating system, with tables accommodating groups from 2-10 people. Some of the other restaurants are reservations only. If your group is greater than 10 guests, special enquiries must be made if your group would like to be seated together every night.

6.What facilities are available for families?
Silversea cannot accommodate infants less than six months of age and reserves the right to limit the number of children under three years of age. The ship is adult-orientated, and therefore one children’s counsellor per ship and a limited array of kids' activities will be offered on select voyages with exceptionally large numbers of children.

7.What facilities are available for those with disabilities?
Most Silversea ships have wheelchair accessible rooms, located close to elevators. Guests requiring special assistance because of physical disabilities must be accompanied by a non-disabled adult who will be able to assist them during the cruise, transfers, and in the event of an emergency. Guests requiring a wheelchair must provide their own collapsible wheelchair.

We regret that Silversea Expedition holidays (those onboard the Silver Explorer) are not considered suitable for less able passengers as landings and sometimes embarkation are by Zodiacs or tenders. A certain level of agility will be required to board but crew will be in attendance to ensure passenger safety.
