On Compagnie du Ponant, a booking of 10 cabins or more qualifies it as a group booking.

4.My group wants to dine together. What are the dining options and their capacities?
Each Compagnie du Ponant ship offers a range of dining options. As the ship has an open seating policy, requests to dine together in large groups must be made in advance and are not guaranteed.

5.What destinations does Compagnie du Ponant travel to?
Compagnie du Ponant travels to each of the 7 continents with their 5 ship fleet. Itineraries vary in length (4 Nights+) and can be combined.

6.What facilities are available for families?
Compagnie du Ponant is family friendly and offers connecting staterooms, baby-sitting service on request, children's menus, fun tea parties, games, piano lessons and a host of other activities for children onboard. They are particularly welcome on family-themed cruises, which have a designated kids club.

For children under the age of 8, parents are asked to complete the parental responsibility discharge form, and are accepted at time of booking. In all cases, children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians.

Children from 8-12 years old sharing with two adults sail at no additional cost (port charges and taxes still apply).

7.What facilities are available for those with disabilities?
Disabled guests can only be accommodated on board Le Boreal and L’Austral as they offer disabled cabins, lifts and electric stair lifts. The other ships in the Compagnie du Ponant fleet are not well equipped to accommodate those with disabilities.

8.What is in my stateroom?
King, double or twin beds, flat screen satellite TV, DVD players, individually controlled air conditioning, bathrooms with shower or bath tub, mini-bar, stereo, safe, telephone, bathrobes and hairdryers, WiFi internet access, 24 hour room service (limited menu).

Additionally onboard Le Boreal and L’Austral:
DVD/CD/iPod™ players, bathtub or Balneo shower, video on demand, satellite direct line telephone, flexible configuration of space (40 Prestige staterooms can be converted into 20 Prestige Suites), private verandahs and Wii™ consoles in game area.

9.What is the dress code onboard the ship?
There is no dress code onboard the ship. During the day, casual attire is recommended, with practical clothes and comfortable shoes for shore excursions. Evening attire is at your discretion, although men are asked to wear jackets on formal evenings. If you are cruising in the Arctic or Antarctica, you will receive a polar parka in your size.

Please smoke only in the outside areas of the ship, with all indoor areas being designated non-smoking areas.

11.What meeting facilities are available for my group onboard the ship?
Each of the ships has a designated meeting area as well as other public areas that may be able to be used at request.
