Deposit:
In order to hold space beyond the option date, the deposit amount on your Travel the World invoice must be paid by the option date. Bookings made within the below cancellation penalties will require full payment upon confirmation. The deposit amount includes a Travel the World Administration Fee of A$110 per person. If the deposit is not received at Travel the World’s office by the due time / date, the booking will automatically cancel.
Finals:
Final payment is due at Travel the World’s office 100 days prior to departure from Australia. Refer to your invoice to determine when your final balance is due.
Prices: Fares, Taxes and Surcharges
The prices quoted at the time of booking are based on expected economic conditions at the time of sailing. These conditions include the cost of transport and fuel, relevant taxes including embarkation and disembarkation taxes, port charges, entrance costs to tourist sites, international currency rates, and other variable costs which are inherent to the calculation of applicable fares. Travel The World advises that Compagnie du Ponant reserves the right within the legal limits of French Law to vary the price quoted if necessary and appropriate. Whilst Compagnie du Ponant reserves the right to refuse boarding to passengers who have not paid the additional amount due, no price adjustments can be made within 30 days of departure.
Cancellations:
In the event of a cancellation, Travel the World will deduct the A$110 per person Administration Fee that was paid with the deposit, from the final balance.
In addition, Compagnie du Ponant will apply the cancellation fees shown below for guests who cancel for any reason including medical or family related reasons.

Please contact your nearest consulate for the most up to date information regarding visas.
Payments:
All bookings are priced in EURO. Travel the World transacts the initial deposit on an indicative rate of exchange. The entire gross amount is then finalised using the daily rate of exchange. To obtain this rate and an invoice reflecting this, please contact Travel the World. We will hold the rate for two business days only (with exception of public holidays).

It is a requirement of Compagnie du Ponant that a booking form is completed and returned with the deposit. The booking form should have been sent with the initial Travel the World invoice. If you have not received, please contact Travel the World to obtain this form. Failure to return the booking form may delay documentation.
